Beautiful Minds: "The Great Loop" - John Guider's Journey

Throughout the summer NCCA will follow photographer, author, and 2011 Beautiful Minds winner, John Guider, during the last phase of "The Great Loop" journey circling around the nation's great water ways along the east coast and through the mid-west. John Guider shared his remarkable story at both the 2015 Congressional Briefing and the 2015 Leadership Exchange and Conference.
A former advertising photographer, John decided later in his life to leave his job, build a sailboat, and start the journey that would change his life. Through his photography John offers us a breathtaking view of wildlife and nature along these waterways. NCCA will track John as he completes the circuit through Milwaukee, Chicago, and St. Louis.
He plans to set sail on June 12th in order to complete "The Great Loop" by the end of the Summer. "I feel more energized and ready to inspire others.", said John as he described how he felt about this last phase. John is excited about gathering his gear, charts, and getting his boat ready for sail and will be equipped with a GPS tracker. Look for travel updates on the NCCA Facebook page, NCCA Twitter page, and the NCCA Newsletter throughout the Summer.
