NCCA has been keeping a close eye 2011 Beautiful Minds winner John Guider as he makes his way down the great Mississippi River. Since we last checked on this modern day Huckleberry Finn, John has faced some obstacles on the water.

Registration for the 2015 conference, The Creative Age: Creativity and Aging in America will open in January, 2015. The conference will be held in Washington, DC, on May 19 – 21, 2015. NCCA will be providing updates as we approach the launch of registration.

National Center for Creative Aging Announces Jennie Smith-Peers as New Executive Director | New Executive Director of NCCA Aims to Change the View of Aging

April 12, 2016 (Washington, DC) - The National Center for Creative Aging (NCCA) which promotes healthy aging through creative expression in the arts and humanities serving older people, announces the appointment of Jennie Smith-Peers, now the Executive Director of Elders Share the Arts to serve as the new NCCA Executive director upon the retirement of Gay Hanna the current executive director at the end of June 2016.

Beautiful Minds: Where are They Now?

Throughout the Fall season NCCA will be featuring a Beautiful Mind from each year of the campaign and what they are up to now.

John Guider has Completed "The Great Loop"

On August 8, 2011 Beautiful Minds winner, John Guider completed the final phase of his journey along some of the great waterways of the nation called, "The Great Loop". NCCA has been following John every paddle along the way. It has been a great adventure being on this journey with him.
