Nintendo's next market: old people

Nintendo is based out of Japan where, as of 2005, one-fifth of the population is over the age of 65. Nintendo is one of many Japanese companies who are looking into ways of using technology to help older people stay active and age at home. Nintendo is hoping to use the model of popular games like Wii Sport and Wii Fit to develop products that make physical therapy and health-monitoring fun for older adults.
