Time to get back to school!

Color-pencils

As kids across the country are letting out groans and sighs as the school year approaches, adults are gearing up (hopefully a little more excitedly) to go back to school as well.  There are 117 Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes (OLLIs) around the country that offer a multitude of learning opportunities often housed within a local university.  Here in Washington, DC out of American University, OLLI offers over 70 classes held at all hours of the day on topics ranging from a class on Understanding India Today to Cezanne and his Legacy to Avant-Garde Theatre.   Held in spring and fall semesters, these programs “are meeting the needs of older learners who want to learn simply for the joy of learning and personal fulfillment.”

So don’t leave learning to those who are younger, go out and get involved in an OLLI near you.
