Joining Our Voices: A conference for those living with early-stage Alzheimer's disease or related disorder, family members, and professionals who work with them

A day of discussion and creative self-expression for those affected by early-stage dementia, offered by JF&CS in collaboration with the Massachusetts-New Hampshire Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. The day includes: Panel discussion “Disclosing the diagnosis: the reality of stigma and the possibility of true connection"; Songwriting workshop with Judith-Kate Friedman, Founding Director, SongWriting Works, Distinguished Fellow of the Society for the Arts in Healthcare and the Global Alliance for Arts and Health, and Bernice Lewis, award-winning singer/songwriter, songwriting faculty member at Williams College and Colorado College; Paper quilt-making with Elena Clamen, MA, LMHC, expressive arts therapist and visual artist, and Esther Friedman, MA, expressive arts therapist, visual artist and songwriter.
