Program Title
Princeton Arts Council
Program Summary

Under the leadership of artist-instructor Eva Mantell, ACP works on-site and at residences and facilities in the Princeton area to bring professional and specially-tailored arts programming to members of the community with a range of abilities, from those living independently in low-income senior housing to those living in adult day care centers (see article) and those at the Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) Unit at the University Medical Center (see article) who are coping with dementia and Alzheimer’s. The ACP has become a leader in the field of creative aging and is now one of three professional training sites for the National Center for Creative Aging, funded, in part, by the National Endowment for the Arts.
