Program Title
Take a Drum Ride
Program Summary

"TAKE A DRUM RIDE" is offered in settings including eldercare, social work, healthcare, education, and disabilities. This sequential learning program engages active seniors as a musical ensemble, "The Drum Riders". The group rehearses together to perform in a concert(s) for their families and friends.

The participants take away skills to be comfortable and musical with a colorful array of hand drums, and to be the song-leaders of music that has catchy beats, cool melodies, and great lyrics. No prior musical experience is required. As a rollicking finale tune in the concerts, attractive percussion instruments are provided for the entire audience to accompany The Drum Riders.
